Along the way, Rich acquired both an expansive knowledge of antique furniture and an extensive collection of vintage phonographs. Kandy is our caning expert. She lives in Glen Ellyn, where in 2009 she retired from her antique business after 30 years. Her specialty dealt with early American to mid-1800’s furniture, art and collectibles. Repair and restoration were necessary elements of the business and, with no one to cane the pieces she had, she decided to fill the void herself. As a result, Kandy has over 25 years of caning experience. She handles all of the caning needs for Wehrli Woodworks and works part time at a local hardware store.
