Kandy is our caning expert. She lives in Glen Ellyn, where in 2009 she retired from her antique business after 30 years. Her specialty dealt with early American to mid-1800’s furniture, art and collectibles. Repair and restoration were necessary elements of the business and, with no one to cane the pieces she had, she decided to fill the void herself. As a result, Kandy has over 25 years of caning experience. She handles all of the caning needs for Wehrli Woodworks and works part time at a local hardware store.
